I Stand Behind What I Make

Every BSP KnifeWorks knife is made by hand in my Gold Coast workshop, and I expect it to give you years of proper use.

If a knife develops a genuine fault in the materials or workmanship under normal use, get in touch. I’ll assess it and, where appropriate, repair or replace it.

If I made it, I’ll stand behind it.

Free Sharpening for Life

Every BSP KnifeWorks knife includes free lifetime sharpening.

When the edge eventually needs more than a quick touch-up at home, send it back to the workshop or arrange to bring it in.

You cover the cost of postage to and from the workshop. If you’re posting it, the easiest option is to include a prepaid Australia Post satchel with your knife for the return journey.

The sharpening itself is free.

While it’s here, I’ll also give it a general check-over and let you know if I spot anything that needs attention.

Knives Are Made to Work

I build knives to be used, not kept pristine in a display case.

A few scratches, stains and signs of use are part of the deal.

What they are not designed for is being used as pry bars, screwdrivers, axes or anything else that puts them under forces they were never intended to handle.

Damage caused by misuse, heavy impact, twisting, corrosion, neglect, dishwashers or poor sharpening practices may fall outside the warranty.

If Something Goes Wrong

Even if the problem isn’t covered by the warranty, that doesn’t mean I’ll leave you stranded.

Most knives can be repaired, cleaned up, rehandled, refinished or brought back into service.

Send me a few photos and I’ll let you know what can be done. If there is a cost involved, I’ll explain it before I start.

Just get in touch, tell me what’s happened and we’ll work it out from there.
