A Nakiri built to stop people in their tracks before it ever touches a board. The blade is forged from Obsteel Cu Mai, a layered steel combining 52100, copper, and 1020, and it's the copper that tells the story. That flowing line through the black oxide finish isn't decoration added after the fact, it's the copper layer revealed through the grind, unique to every single blade. Underneath the visual, you have a serious cutting tool, 52100 at the core delivers exceptional edge retention and a razor-sharp cutting bevel that makes vegetable prep feel effortless.
The handle is dyed and stabilised spalted tamarind, the stabilisation locks in the wild figuring of the spalted timber and the deep teal dye pulls the colour from the blade's copper line into the handle. A copper spacer ties the two halves together. This is a knife that works as hard as it looks.
