Kephart bush knife - Wolfram Special

A Kephart is one of the oldest and most honest bush knife designs there is, simple geometry, no fuss, built to work. This one is ground from Wolfram Special Steel, a tungsten alloyed tool steel with outstanding edge retention and the toughness to handle real field use. The satin finish is clean and practical. At 115mm the blade sits in that sweet spot between nimble and capable.

The handle pairs stabilised wild olive with vintage micarta, two materials with warmth and character that only improve with use. Wild olive is dense and beautifully figured, the grain shifting from pale gold to deep amber along the handle. The vintage micarta adds texture and contrast. A mosaic pin and brass lanyard tube finish it off with care.
